Porton Biopharma Limited (PBL)  is committed to implementing best practice in regard to data protection. As stipulated in the Data (Use & Access) Act 2025, this policy sets out the process for raising a complaint in regard to the collection, retention and processing activities associated with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that PBL collects and uses.

  • Should you wish to complain to PBL in regard to Data Protection, you should contact PBL’s Data Protection Officer.
  • Your complaint will be formally acknowledged within 30 days of receipt.
  • A record of your complaint will be entered in the register of data protection complaints.
  • Your complaint will be investigated and responded to without undue delay.
  • You can obtain an update on the status of your complaint at any time by contacting the PBL Data Protection Officer.
  • Should you be unsatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you can escalate the matter with the Information Commission https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/data-protection-complaints/

Note: The Data (Use & Access) Act 2025 establishes the Information Commission to replace the Information Commissioner’s Office. As of the time of publication of this policy that process is in progress. This policy references the new Information Commission, but where links are given to web sites, existing links to the ICO are still in place. This will be updated when new links are available.
